This past year, I have recently decided to tap into the side of my life that is gardening. As a young girl, I would occasionally get my hands dirty with the intent to have something grow. As an older teen, I only rubbed my green thumb on the arranged bouquets at Trader Joes. As a young adult, both my plants and myself have been thriving in the outdoor environment. In my decently-sized apartment backyard, I took it upon myself to begin landscaping as well as building my own garden sanctuary. So far, I have learned a lot about myself, my ability to think of new swears when a hammer comes into contact with my thumb, and about the plants that will nourish this house. I am enjoying every second of tending to this new scenery, and would love if I could receive advice every now and again when I come across funky or normal situations (such as buggies eating my basil plant).
